What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a hydradermabraison procedure that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously, resulting in clearer, glowing skin with no downtime. The treatment is non-invasive.

How do I prep my skin for a HydraFacial?

You will want to stop the use of aggressive exfoliation and products containing glycolic acid and retinol a week or 2 before your treatment.

How do I care for my skin post HydraFacial?

- The use of daily sunscreen is of upmost importance post HydraFacial. Avoiding sun exposure is also very important.

- You can return to your regular skincare routine the very next day making sure to avoid any acids and retinol for at least a week post treatment.

- You will want to avoid facial waxing for 2 weeks post treatment

What can I expect immediately after a HydraFacial?

This can vary quite a bit for each individual as skin type and sensitivity play a role in this but you may experience a bit of tingling or mild stinging that generally subside within a few hours. Your skin could experience temporary irritation, tightness or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours. Your skin will be more susceptible to sunburn/sun damage so avoiding sun exposure and using SPF is imperative.

Are HydraFacials safe during pregnancy?

HydraFacials are not recommended during pregnancy and nursing.

Can I get a HydraFacial if I have Botox?

You can get a HydraFacial if you have had Botox or other fillers/injectables but you must wait a minimum of 10 days.

I'm using oral medications to treat acne, can I get a HydraFacial?

No. The use of oral medication such a Accutane must be stopped for a minimum of 3 month before a HydraFacial can be done.
